Depends....some games are illegal [like on some websites it says like that you can download like the sims...which you have to buy on a CD to buy legally] but some games allow you to download games...uhmm lets see like ragdoll,maplestory...and more.. :]
Hope that helps!

It depends some games are made free to download and have no copyright these are generally not as good as they are non profitable so not much money went into making them there are a few exceptions to this rule Wolfenstein Enemy Territory and Fear Multiplayer are great games given away free to promote a related product ,then theres demos which are also legal they are small samples of the game given away to promote the full product however if you download a full game off a website that you've seen somewhere else for money than it will be in breach of copyright and therefore illegal

I don't think you can go on the internet. You will need Xbox Live Marketplace, and then you can go through the Market Place to download Arcade Games and a limited amount of Xbox Originals.

yes, in some casses. but I have found a way around that that is not illeggal. Some games not all, if you download the free trail and when you run out of time save. Often if you download the same game's free trial from another website, the portion you played will still be on there. I beat cake mania that way and diner dash, and never had to pay a dime and I'm working on cute knight.
