I'm going to glue the interior rear view mirror on my truck back in its place on the windsheild. I've needed to do this to every vehicle I've owned. My question is...what wisdom of what wise sage decided, hey lets glue the mirror to the glass instead of screwing it to the interior roof.mirrors never came off back then.

the first time the rear view mirror falls off it will never stay on again. but the good news is a thing called after market products for $30 at the most you can get a kit that will bolt up to the roof of your truck..

biggest thing when re-gluing a mirror is to ensure its very clean of windex, etc. Use allot of alcohol wipes to clean the area real good...do NOT put the mirror on to the glass, only the little pice that the mirror hjooks to, then a day later, place the mirror back on...good luck !!

Are you using the mirror mounting kit from the auto supply ?? Can't use any glue, must be for mounting mirrors.
