We all know that women are not the equal to us men. Both physically and especialy mentally. Women use emotion rather than logic to control their lives. Consequently, as men ,we often times find ourselves protecting our women from themselves, as well as other things. With that said, why in the WORLD do we treat them as equals? Isn't it time to acknowledge their subservient role in life and handle them as such?

You pose an interesting question. I in my time here on earth have found as many emotional men as women. There are weak women in this world, but it can be argued that there is just as many weak men who are whipped by their woman. The time I will serve a subservient role is when I find a man worthy of being subservient to. Until then I will continue to live my life as a strong woman.

Saying things of that nature proves the point that not all men use logic to control their lives. Somebody ought to be protecting you from yourself. It is true that women are no match for a man physically, however mentally we are equal. Emotionally we are equal as well, it's just that men are trained to hide their emotions from an early age. As for subservience, no person ought to be subservient to anyone.

I always wondered if there was really a difference mentally between woman and men or if cultural conditioning causes us to think that way. In example, when I see two men and two women, I see one man who's not emotional at all and I think he's just being normal. Then I see another man crying his eyes out about something and I want to laugh at him, call him emo and pathetic. Then I look at the last two girlfriends I had and the oldest one had almost no emotion at all. She was cold-hearted, always claiming she felt nothing, and always said she didn't know why she felt that way. I remember her dad always telling me that if we ever were married, she'd be the one in control, not me. I saw her as weird and almost scary at times, but when I dated this other girl, she'd start crying over things that seemed insignificant to me. She actually told me she cried everynight over something and all the time I would joke with her about something and she'd cry out of nowhere. She always told me she was fragile and appologized when she did so. But I seemed more willing to accept my last girlfriend's emotional outbursts because I was always told that women were emotional.
My point is, who knows. Maybe mentally men and women are the same and the number of emotional men equals the number of emotional women, but when we do see the opposite of society's expectations, we think that person is just the exception to the rule. Therefore it seems like there's more emotional women then men, but our perceptions could be skewered by our conditioned preconcieved notions.

Nice try, but I'm not convinced. Only inferior men need to feel superior to women..................... women and men are not equal, they are at totally different ends of the spectrum. One without the other is like having a piece of the puzzle missing. Men and women need each other and they learn from each other. If you can't accept the honest truth, then maybe you are not strong enough to survive in this world?

keep thinking that way buddy, and let's see how many girlfriends you get. for one thing, we can take pain way better, try giving birth, and also think about the fact that men wouldnt exist if WOMEN hadn't given birth to them. as for logic, i'll debate with you anytime and we'll see who wins. x(
