I noticed you haven't gotten any answers from someone who actually takes propecia. I am 49 years old and have been taking propecia for many years now. My maternal grandfather was as bald as an ice cube and I started loosing my hair in my late 20's. Propecia totallly stopped all of my hair loss and caused a moderate improvement in the thickness of my hair within the first 3-6 months. This improvement has remained unchanged from that point on. I am very pleased with the results. I have noticed NO side effects. Had I not started on propecia when I did I would be an ice cube today just like my grandfather.
Something to think about, though, is that once a hair follicle completely atrophies due to male pattern baldness, propecia will NOT cause it to regrow hair. So if you have enough hair now to be happy with then I would recommend propecia. If you have lost so much that even a moderate increase in thickness would not be adequate then your only real option is hair transplantation.

Propecia is a powerful drug and some users do suffer side affects.
There is also a herbal range of hair loss treatments from Nisim called New Hair Biofactors which many users find quite effective.

I'm making good profit with penny stock. Check here http://trade-pennystock.checkhere.info
Many new investors are lured to the appeal of a penny stock due to the low price and potential for rapid growth which may be as high as several hundred percent in a few days. Similarly, severe loss can occur and many penny stocks lose all of their value in the long term. Accordingly, the SEC warns that penny stocks are high risk investments and new investors should be aware of the risks involved but you can even make very big money. These risks include limited liquidity, lack of financial reporting, and fraud. A penny stock is a common stock that trades for less than $5 a share. While penny stocks generally are quoted over-the-counter, such as on the OTC Bulletin Board or in the Pink Sheets, they may also trade on securities exchanges, including foreign securities exchanges. In addition, penny stocks include the securities of certain private companies with no active trading market. Although a penny stock is said to be "thinly traded," share volumes traded daily can be in the hundreds of millions for a sub-penny stock. Legitimate information on penny stock companies can be difficult to find and a stock can be easily manipulated.

Hair loss affects both men and women. Here are some natural remedies that can help boost hair growth: https://bitly.im/aOetf While genetics plays a role, there are other factors, including: hormonal imbalances, an underactive thyroid gland, nutrient deficiencies and insufficient scalp circulation.

Hello:
This is in response to your question concerning the effectiveness of propecia to treat male pattern baldness (androgenic alopecia).
I treat quite a few men with propecia and the results are variable.
What I recommend when counseling a patient on hair loss is that research studies show that propecia is very effective in stimulating new hair growth when used for extended periods of time and used in the proper manner and dosage.
In general, most patients do not see any results for about six months once beginning propecia every day. I tell my patients to have pictures taken of their hair/scalp at different angles, ie. front on, from the back, from both sides and from above before starting therapy. Retake the pictures at three month intervals, that way both the patient and myself can evaluate the effectiveness of the medication. If by one year out, there is no change in the amount of new hair growth, then I stop the medication and move on to some other type of medication, ie minoxidil which usually is less effective but may work on people who do not respond to propecia.
Interesting tidbit of info for you: minoxidil was originally FDA approved for treating high blood pressure but over time, post marketing analysis showed that minoxidil had a curious side effect. Men and women alike started growing hair, albeit more like "peach fuzz" rather than full thick hair.
Some companies guarantee their "natural" remedies to grow hair, but there is no real convincing evidence or studies showing that these natural remedies really work.
Propecia is taken on a daily basis at a dose of 1 mg per day. (I read some of the other responses to your question. One reviewer told you that propecia is taken at 5 mg daily. It doesnt even come in that dosage. The only dosage is 1 mg tablets). Be careful when listening to people who answer medical questions. They can give you incorrect and even dangerous information.
In my experience, about 35-50% of patients respond favorably to propecia and about 20% to minoxidil.
Every medication/drug has potential side effects. Propecia may cause decreased libido, inability to ejaculate, and erectile dysfunction, however these side effects are very rare, ie. occurs in less than 0.5% of men taking it every day (1 in 200 men)
Of course there are other treatments for alopecia, ie transplantation of healthy hair follicles from the back of the head to the areas of baldness on the front and sides of the scalp. This is a very effective treatment, however, it is very time consuming, requires multiple visits to the doctor and can be very painful, so I give a one year trial of propecia first, and if that does not work, I give my patient the option of giving minoxidil a try or going straight to a hair transplantation specialist.
I hope this helped answer your question.
Good luck!
Regards,
Warren Shaffer, M.D.

Why the hell do certain women make themselves look like this. They look so fake and strawlike. It's nice to have long hair but she might as well have a ball of yellow knitting wool on her head. I think Kris will stay around long enough for a magazine deal.

I donot know but thought u might be interested in this.
this is a very good remedy for hair loss(alopecia):
take a strong multi-vitamin & mineral tablet everyday plus 2 grams of vitamin C & zinc tabletsThere'll be zinc in the multi-vitamin but take the extra dose as instructed on the container until the hair begins to grow normally.
Also, use shampoos that donot contain sodium laureth sulphate as this is avery harsh ingredient & can damage your hair. Good health shops sell them (JASON, faith in nature, Weleda are good brands) also see this website for others (free P&P in UK). choose one thats good for your hair type. (see link)
I recently came across this in my local health shop & was recommended by customers that it works. )I don't personally know): Superior hair (please see 2nd link)
