You are the adult, she is the child. She lives in your home & you set the standards of behavior. You get to decide what is acceptable not her. You believe this behavior is inappropriate then so be. Give in to this 11 yr old now. what next will she expect you to cave in on. At that age they will push to the max. Standing tough will not win brownie points with her but it is the right think for her.

Why not? Let her be creative with her look in ways that aren't hurting anything. Besides, if you say no and tell her she can't...she may find another way to be a punk rocker. ;)

If you give in, make sure that she does not ask you next to pierce her body and tattoo it; make sure that she does not after all that, join the cool gang of smokers and inhalers of substances. Watch her closely, for she seems to be an easy prey to peer pressure.

Who is the parent?She's too young ,wait a couple of more years.If you give in,next she'll be asking for piercings and tattoos.Once they turn 18 they do whatever they want anyway.

in the long run it is because eventually your daughter will end up asking for more as she gets more used to you always giving her what she wants.

she's only 11 and doesn't know better. if you give in, shes going to get used to getting whatever she wants. so DONT LET HER SHAVE HER HEAD.
