My best friend says she's over him but always talks about him. help me

Shes clearly not over him. I think shes just telling you that she is to possibly make herslef believe she is.

omg we have a friend just like that. her name is emily. she broke up w/ this guy in seventh grade around january. we're now in eighth grade, and she can't get over him. she says she would only like him if he liked her, but we all know that's not true, and it never has been. when we're talking online she gets depressed looking at pics of them together.
wut we like to do is ignore. just ignore her. she needs to work it out on her own. if u want to, which u probably dont, but if u feel a NEED to, confront her about it. tell her that if he doesnt like her, she needs to come to terms w/ herself. it may sound mean, but its true. she needs to realize that when she breaks up w/ someone, its over. its not likely that theyre getting back together.

she is so not over him, she wants to be over him....she is talking to you to help herself get over him...be a good friend and listen

if she always talks about him shes not over him. and it your job to help her threw it. shes probley trying her hardest to make it look like shes over him but deep inside i bet its tearing her apart help her as much as you can.

if she talks alot about him then she is kinda close to being over him. She talks alot to you to express that she isnt quite over him yet. but eventually she will...=]

she can still talk to him, geeze... i broke up with a guy that i dated lyk 9 times but i still talk to him and i am totally over him!!!!!!!!!!!!
