your wanting your daughter to take naps at 11 yrs old?
your daughter is only a kid for so long.
she is in middle school i guess right now.
so that means that she will be in highschool in 3-4 years
you are only a kid roughly about 1/8 of your life
i say let her have fun while she still can

Be grateful that she wants to go outside at all. My sons have to be behooved into going outside. She is 11, not 3 and naps are something you want her to do.

Be glad she wants to play outside and not stay indoors watching T.V., eating, and getting fat. Besides, she is too old to be taking naps.

she's 11 YEARS old? she's done with naps (unless she's had a rough day and needs to sleep).
if you don't want to stand outside watching her play, set yourself up by the window and read or something or put a fence around your yard.

She doesn't want to sleep her life away. Shes too old for naps. Give the kid a break.

You are the authority model. Tell her to stop playing outside and take more naps instead?

That is a little strange....why don't you go play outside with her?
You could give her Chamomile tea to slow her down.
