I think that you are not too young to start thinking about your sexuality but I would give yourself plenty of time before you start experimenting (at least 16).
The best thing is that you don't get involved with a boy or a girl unless you are 100% sure it's what you want. At your age there are lots of hormones rushing around and can cloud your judgement. Plus peer pressure can make you feel like you should be doing things even if your not 100% comfortable don't give in or you might regret it later.
My advice is find someone you love and then take things slowly. Remember girls or boys will be happy to wait untl you are ready - if they're not willing to wait then they're not looking out for you.
I wish you best of luck!

I knew when I was 5. However, you must realize that same sex crushes happen all the time and it doesn't make you gay! It makes you normal. That's right, almost everyone goes through a same sex crush in their life. We all have "idols" that we "adore" and "love" or think we do. They can be Football players, soccer players, runners, skateboarders, models, singers, actors/actresses, etc. The point is we find these people to be something we want to be! Something we ADMIRE and love and in some ways we fall in love with them. What gets confusing is sometimes they are the same sex as we are. It doesn't make you gay, it means you have a same-sex crush. It happens. You're gay when all your crushes are same-sex! LOL. So, you "may" be gay, but don't give it alot of thought, let it just happen one way or the other. In other words, don't WORRY yourself, your at least 3-4 years from what should be your first true love, just live your life and have fun until then. THEN decide what you want, otherwise you will be driving yourself crazy until then.

It really depends on the person, but you probably aren't old enough to determine that. When I was 13 someone asked me if I was gay and I denied it. I don't think I really understood it yet. When I was 12 the thought hadn't even crossed me mind. It wasn't until someone put the idea in my head that I started to think about it. Honestly, it may take a while until you are completely sure, so don't get too concerned.

you are going through growth spurts and your not alone. If you have very understanding parents, talk to them before it's too late. Whatever you do don't go exploring, just go w/ your heart, it usually knows best. Just enjoy being a teenager, and get through school. Don't worry about a relationship right now, your too young. W/out a good education, you won't go far in the near future. Have a merry Christmas and happy new year.

Your to young to make calls like this and it sounds like you have been deceived. Even the Homosexual activists are not pushing the lie that one is born this way much any more because after striving to make this point it was just plain proven not true. You do however have a sinful nature that desires sinful things. What you are experiencing is likely either confusion, temptation, or gender disorientation. Be very careful as many are tripped up here into a life of misery. Don't you think that the one who made you knows what is best for you. Please at least just read the post from the link below.

I started to piece together my sexuality at the age of 12, so it's possible that you could know yours at about 14. For some people they kinda know all their life, while others don't figure it out until they're in their twenties.

I knew I was straight at 13, so it's possible. But don't just consider yourself a lesbian until you're sure. Experiment with people (no sex! Too young for sex) and see how you feel in a few years.

It's not too young to know; different people get it at different times. That said, it might come up again and you might change your mind. Not a big deal.
