Twelve drummers drumming, eleven pipers piping, ten lords a-leaping, nine ladies dancing, eight maids a-milking, seven swans a-swimming, six geese a-laying, five golden rings, four calling birds, three french hens, two turtle doves, and a partridge in a pear tree? I mean, really...where would you put all of this? (remember, eight cows come with the maids)

What a hilarious gift! But you're entirely right - it would be a nightmare... and it's fairly thoughtless, how do you feed them all? When you read it all at once it begins to sound like some sort of festive orgy.

I think I'd probably keep the boxes, tolerate them till New Years (at which point they'd be entertainment for my party), clean them up and return them for a store credit (except for the five golden rings.). But yes, he'd have a special place in my heart - it'd take a lot of effort and a wicked sense of humour to get that extravaganza together...

Ahh, SunsetSam, this is the first question that has made me laugh out loud.

As for the answer, well, it's the thought that counts, and then it would be time to re-gift.

Obviously this person has no regard for the lack of storage space I have. They must not really care about ME then!
