I have read that Stallone made this movie because he apparently was not happy with "Rocky V" and wanted to make a better movie to end the series with. This in spite of him saying that "Rocky III" would be it, then "Rocky IV" and "Rocky V". And Rocky is still alive at the end of "Rocky Balboa". If Stallone TRULY wanted to end the series now, he could have had Rocky die or even have on the screen at the end "Rocky died....whenever". So will there be "Rocky Balboa II" and so forth now, or is the sage truly finished?

I'd say he is done, he's almost 60 years old. they might come out with one like rocky 5, where he trains tommy gun. Maybe he'll train his son or something, I don't know. but I'm pretty sure this is the end of the line for rocky movies. I think they should stop now before sylvester stallone's legacy goes straight into the ground with cheap immatation characters

I thought Rocky V was the last one. I think with this one, it would be the last one. Sylvester Stallone is getting to old to continue playing Rocky Balboa.

I saw it last night.
it was a good way to end Rockys career.
That street fight in 5 was lame!
this was much better and definately gave closure to the character.
I don't think there will be another.

It needs 2 be unless he plans on fightin from a wheelchair next time... he would be too old 2 fight again. If they wanted 2 do another franchise or something they could bring his character back to be a trainer/coach... but he shouldnt be fighting anymore as the main character...

I saw it and thought it was a good wrap up. I doubt there will be another.

Dear Mr. Naive:

IF MONEY CAN STILL BE MADE, they will not kill the character.
