Life for the mineral kingdom is the movement of it's atoms and the ability to progress, for example charcoal can become a diamond given certain conditions.
Life for the vegetable kingdom is in addition to the movement of it's atoms, the ability to grow. To grow, give beautiful flowers and produce delicate fruits.
Life for the animal kingdom is in addition to growth, the capacity to move, hear, see and react do given conditions.
For man LIFE is in addition to all of the above, the opportunity to acquire moral virtues and put them to the service of mankind. It is also to enjoy all the beautiful things that have been created for him.
How do we acquire moral virtues? Starting from this beautiful quote:
O COMPANION OF MY THRONE!
Hear no evil, and see no evil, abase not thyself, neither sigh nor weep. Speak no evil, that thou mayest not hear it spoken unto thee, and magnify not the faults of others that thine own faults may not appear great; and wish not the abasement of anyone, that thine own abasement be not exposed. Live then the days of thy life, that are less than a fleeting moment, with thy mind stainless, thy heart unsullied, thy thoughts pure, and thy nature sanctified, so that, free and content, thou mayest put away this mortal frame, and repair unto the mystic paradise and abide in the eternal kingdom for evermore.

Life, what is life? Its so difficult to answer yet its so easy, life is when you were born, when this universe took shape or is it when u die to take a new form, life has all the definition and its part of all definitions. If only life can be increased it might shorten so many things, things that are without any aspects. Similar to thoughts which are dimensionless and still gves so many directions. Its part of reasonable being unreasonable.
