i forgot the password and i dont know how to change it

1. Insert DVD into Playstation 2
2. When the “Enter Password” screen appears, press the select button
3. Enter 7444 as the password to reset (7444 is the default by Sony)
4. Next, enter a new password
5. Confirm new password

the password is 0000 usually.
