That way they don't have to be responsible for themselves. If something negative happens in their life,it is always someone else's fault.

Why do you and people like you post such idiotic questions. Is there a person on here who has seen another person carrying a sign that reads, I'm a liberal and I hate America, anyone? Seen any on television, heard any on the radio? Anyone? Every time a question like this is posted I think, what a small, closed-minded person. Free thinking and dissenting opinions seem to scare the crap out of folks like you. We don't hate freedom or America, we dislike what you guys are doing to both. Spying on ordinary citizens, the so-called Patriot Act and on and on. The more I hear and read, the more I think you guys are the ones who hate freedom, freedom of speech, freedom of thought, and freedom to make my own choices. Why don't you just stop the bullshit?

Actually, they LOVE freedom, but don't understand that laws are necessary to make freedom enjoyable for everyone.

They prefer to tax everything and make all of the poor MORE money at the expense of tax payers instead of helping TEACH the poor how to make money. They would rather everyone be equal instead of letting a lazy man go hungry.

Sounds a little like communism, huh?

We support wealthy, educated, industrious Blue states where most people can afford to have nanny's.

In the Southern Red states, that's another story all together. Con/Red states have always been towards the bottom of everything except illiteracy, divorce, murder, and abortion rates

You forgot to mention "Kool-Aid," and other Fox News talking points. And, in point of fact, Jim Jone's colony in Guyana was conservative, not liberal. So, that's funny.

We love freedom. Republicans are afraid of it. They are afraid that too much freedom will cause them to lose control and the browner peoples of the earth will run wild in the street.

Instead of asking silly questions, why don't you just rent Birth of a Nation and have all your fears confirmed.

One of the basic fundamentals of liberal philosophy is that the the government is best able to handle a myriad of aspects of life. That includes just about everything. Conservatives on the flip side feel it is best to empower people do things for themselves, or to empower private business, or to empower private charities.

Just a few examples. Conservatives believe in giving parents choice in what schools their kids go to. Liberals don't. They think allowing parents to choose private schools for their kids would hurt the public (government run) school system.

Conservatives believe it would be good to allow workers to accumulate social security withholdings into a personal account that they control, not the government, so when they retire they have a huge nest egg to live off of, or even leave to their heirs. Liberals believe that citizens are unable to manage their finances, and that allowing them to do so, is a risky scheme that will hurt retirees. They, for reasons I can't understand, believe that the federal government is better suited to manage workers retirement funds. Based on the governments record of financial management, I can't see why anyone would think they are good at it.

It's just a difference of opinion on what type of government works best. Big government that helps/controls citizens with all aspects of their lives, or limited government that stays out of the way of citizens, business and charities, and helps only those that truly need help, like the blind, or severely disabled, etc.

They feel the only recourse to life's problems will be supplied by the government, a very dangerous ideology indeed

how can you say Liberals hate freedom? that makes zero sense. Only the Liberals have complained about the freedoms we have lost under Bush's watch. You don't make any sense.
