Because they are delicious. It's just something kids like. When I was 11, Pixie stix were always at a party. Pop Rocks are just as good =] It's not like it's a bad thing.

there are kids in my boy scout troop who bring smarties and straws to lockins. get my picture? with peer pressure and the cruelty of kids today, its possible that your daughter has begun snorting them. you may watch to notice any behaviour changes. if so, talk to her about it, and maybe cut back from buying them for her.
