He has my sympathy because he's always had fewer presents than other people and everyone is too busy with Christmas to come to his birthday parties.

What do you mean? He's just a Christmas baby, not an alien. If your wondering about a gift maybe, I would treat the 25th like Christmas and then take him out or something later in the week for his bday.

My son was born on Christmas day, he turned 9 this year! :) I was having him about the time I should have been opening presents. LOL Anyway, we celbrate his birthday a week or 2 early. This year he had a party on the 16th. He's always quite pleased to tell everyone he was born on Christmas day.

thats great for someone on a budget. You would only be expected to buy one gift. Otherwise take the time to seperate the occasions. Attend whatever family functions you have to then later make him dinner for his birthday just for the 2 of you.
