I have a christmas party tonight. I'm wearing a black strapless dress and because of that I have to wear a black strapless bra. My problem is that the dress keeps falling down becaues I do not have the breasts to fill it out properly. I've gone out and gotten the inserts for the bra but the strapless bra keeps sliding down, I've also planned on wearing two bras but still have the same problem. Doesn't anyone know ANY way I can keep my strapless bra from falling down so I dont look like I have saggy boobs hah thanks

Toupee tape does the trick. They actually market it for women for this purpose now and you should be able to get it in places like Claires Accessores or lingerie stores.

It's a kind of super strong double sided tape and it's the way celebrities keep themselves in those half there, half naked dresses.

Enjoy your party tonight and I hope you get a hold of the tape somewhere, it will really help and stop you from doing that hauling motion on the front of your dress all night.

There are many variables :
1) the construction of the strapless bra has to change according to the size of the bra and the size of the breast. i.e. the smaller the breast the less need for a more solid hold or stability in front.
2) the larger breast means more weight and a greater need for added stability and construction in the design of the bra.
3) In adding stability to a strapless bra, you need a wider more rigid elastic at the top and the bottom of the non-cup (front) area of the bra, as well as a very rigid elastic fabric in the back of the bra or non cup area. This will offer more overall control from front to back. Depending on the band size and the cup size, stays are a key factor in stabilizing the control and fit of the strapless bra.
4) Whether it is a strapless dress or a strapless bra on its own, elastic plays a key part in the design. The smaller the bodies band measurement, unless there are larger breasts, the thinner the elastic requirements need to be for sufficient control.
5) The breast area is fatty tissue and has weight, offering a solid control garment so this fatty tissue stays in place is essential to a good strapless bra or dress.
6) The design of the cup itself can be important in a strapless bra as well.
7) The bra (undergarment) is the key factor in the fit of a strapless dress. Unless there is very little breast tissue. i.e small breasts
8) Alterations on a strapless dress have to be made for most strapless dresses to fit correctly. All breasts are different and all dresses fit differently on each person. The need to alter the dresses fabric to the shape of ones body, is essential for a good look and fit.
9) The weight and length of the strapless dresses fabric plays are part in the stabilizing requirements.

RE: How do you keep a strapless bra + strapless gown from slipping down? I'm donning a strapless gown with a strapless bra for commencement in the present day, and because i'm donning the grad. gown over it i will't be consistently pulling it up. Any concepts on making this outfit stay conscious? D: thank you a gaggle!!
