If he's not eating like usual you need to get it checked. It could be a number of things, but since he's behaving fairly normally otherwise it may be a tooth problem or abscess. One of my rabbit's was very prone to abscess and never showed any signs other than a drop off in the amount he ate. As soon as he did that I would feel along his jawline and sure enough there would be an abscess. Your boy may not have an actual abscess but he could have spurs that can cause a lot of pain.
There's some more information here

If it does turn out to be an abscess I highly recommend the following protocol
http://www-unix.oit.umass.edu/~jwmoore/bicillin/bicillin.htm
I used this for 2 years on my rabbit and it totally avoided the need for surgery. I have also used it on two other rabbits that developed abscessing, once the treatment was completed they never developed anymore.

It seems to me that if there was a period of time before this where he ate a lot and now he isn't eating, I would say its mating season, some animals including certain subspecies of rabbits slow down their consumption of food to look for mates while still remaining energetic, another possible answer would be that he is getting old and as such his metabolism is slowing down, since he is only starting to get old he may still be as playfull as he was 2 years ago but he would be starting to eat less and less and start being less playfull as well. I hope this information helps. If all else fails then he may have some sort of internal stomach or intestinal problem where when he eats too much due to the increased acidity ulcers in his stomach or intestines start becoming painfull. This last one seems to be a bit more farfetched but I would suggest that a vet look him over to make sure he has no digestive problems.

google House Rabbit Society. anything you ever wanted to know about rabbits is there. is your rabbit getting enough hay? have you tried different veggies? if your rabbit is not eating anything then you need to call the vet if it last 24 hours. everyone who answered before me is right. they're all great answers so far.

Just keep an eye on him... watch his droppings. If his bathroom habits change, that's when you should be worried, because if the bunny has a stomach ailment, it'll show up in his bathroom habits.
Rabbits have very sensitive stomachs... on Thanksgiving when I gave my bunny a bath and trimmed her claws, she was so upset she wouldn't even get out of her cage for about 3 days!
Just keep an eye on him. Good luck!

Rabbits eat constantly. If he's not eating, he could have a hairball. Rabbits cannot cough up hairballs, so he needs to see a vet immediately.
