Steve Nash was voted MVP the past 2 years and commentators/sportswriters always praise him as a basketball player and are debating whether he's one of the best point guards of all time, so Nash is definitely not underrated and important to note not overrated either. He deserves all the praise he's getting.

Gilbert Arenas is underrated. Probably because is team flies under the radar. If he was on a team like San Antonio he might get more publicity. But I've seen him score 60 pts already this season and now 54 against the Suns and you barely hear about him.

Gilbert Arenas is underrated, because he has done so much for this league and the only reason he was an all-star last year was because someone else got injured? He has been the main focus of the Wizards ever since he's gotten there and has kept the team in playoff position ever since. Steve Nash is rated where he's supposed to be. Look up the only guards ever to be named MVP, that list includes Magic, Michael, the Big O, Bob Cousy, and then look at the only PG back-2-back MVPs, That would be Nash and Magic. So to recap Arenas is underrated, Nash is properly rated.

Steve Nash isn't underrated. He's won the last two MVP's with great reason too. He's only underrated with Lakers fans who hate him for the obscenity that he completely rocked them in the first round of the 2006 NBA Playoffs in the last three games.

Agent 0 (Gilbert Arenas), I do find to be underrated though, because he never gets enough credit for what he does. He's a magnificent scorer, and is underrated on defense. I don't see very many flaws from this man.

Gilbert Arenas is very underrated. Steve Nash is very overrated.

Sry but Steve could be replaced and that Suns offense would not miss a beat. Have you seen them w/o Steve Nash? They look exactly the same...they dont miss a beat and Diaw and Barbosa pick up the pace just as Steve Nash does and easily gets 10-12 assists. He won 2 MVPS very underservingly, John Stockton AVERAGED what Steve Nash's best year has been and he never won a single MVP, its garbage. There are ALOT of guards who could replace Nash in that setting w/ that same offense and same scheme and do just as well.

I think Gilbert Arenas is underrated but Steve Nash is way overrated because he has won 2 MVP and all the attention is on him. Even though he is not the guy who seems like he would win 2 mvps but that's why hes overrated.

Well, Arenas is just now getting the credit he deserves but Nash- two time MVP?? thats not underrated. A player who is underrated is Dirk Nowitzki, he carried the Mavs to the finals and then they still don't credit him as a suoerstar. Nash is considered the best, and Arenas sure is making headlines now and getting his credit so I don't think that they are underrated at all really.

Not so much Steve Nash, but Gilbert Arenas definitely. Although he's not a big scorer like a lot of the big names in the NBA, Arenas is a consistent scorer and fits in well in Washington's gameplan. He doesn't want to be a superstar like Kobe and A.I., he'd rather help his team win while remaining under the radar.
