Not laughing but no answer just help.
Let's start with "please reduce fractions to lowest term". In A you are adding thirds and sixths which means you have to convert everything to sixths. If the final answer can be put in thirds or even halfs, then they want you to make that conversion. In the case of C you need to find the common denominator for fifths and elevenths. The obvious one is 55ths but the answer should be switched back to fifths or elevenths, whichever works if possible.
For all of these questions you need to find a common denominator. The simplest way is to multiply the denominators together and then multiply the multiplier by the opposite denominator. 1/4 and 2/5 become 5/20 and 8/20. Hope this is helpful.
By the way, 36 inches in a yard and 16 ounces in a pound just in case you don't have those items handy.
