Try to find out who he likes more. If your friend's really your friend, then she'll be happy for you if he likes you better. Doesn't really matter who liked him first.

Beware... if you value friendship then rather leave the boy... friends can soon become enemies if they feel you have betrayed them over a guy! Also in 5th grade, boys are way to immature to ensure that your feelings are not hurt. Please you're still young and as someone who is in her twenties , I recommend that you stay away from boys and the dramas they bring for quite a while longer... enjoy the chick friendships you have, and rather make good guy friends, because that will help you in the future when you do want to date, coz then you will understand guys a bit better, and will be comfortable enough with them not to have to ask questions like the one you asked here. Enjoy being young, have fun with friends and wait to start the pressures of dating... you won't regret it!

Well i have been through this im just in 6th grade and im going through drama too. Anyway you have many things to ask yourself for example is the guy mature enough for me? will he like me fro who i am? also my advice never ever be somebody else so the guy can like you okay cuz that wouldnt be good also remember to kind of hang out with him learn about him even more dont be scared of your friend whoever the guy likes is the person it doesnt matter if your friend lieks him also get closer with his friends and start hanging around with him so i wish you luck and i hope i helped.

My dear I know how u feel..but I would advise u to stay away. Cuz u don't want to be in trouble with your friend. And lets face the fact that..u really don't know who he loves..and at that age now, hormones r here and there.So try to forget him and think like "this guy is already taken,and I don't want to loose my friend"Cuz next few months or weeks..u're gonna like someone else that is much more attractive.Trust me..this is just the starting..girlfriend.Chow..hope that helps

One thing you have is time to wait this one out. The chances that your friend and this boy will last more than a month are slim, 6 months, next to none--a year, zero. If you are still interested in this boy when he is no longer interested in your friend, you can consider yourself lucky. If you are no longer interested, you have learned one of life's great lessons with no personal pain. Consider yourself even luckier.

as a teen, i've experienced drama situations before. just be youself and relax. things will play out the way they should. my advice is to go after the boy, he will probably say no...just cuz boys seem to be 2 years younger on the maturity level. they don't like girls yet. ;)

why does it matter? you can't get married and other than marriage, dating only leads to heart break and regrets. Yes it is hard, but i'm 13 and skipped a grade and have time for myself that i just wouldn't have with a boy friend. if you like them for the right reasons, you can manage to just be friends.

boys will come and go sweetie, but if ur friend is a tru friend, hold on to her and not the boy. friends come first hun. u could (a) lose a friend over some boy that won't be around forever b/c face it, ur young, it ain't love - or (b) keep ur friend and move on, ur so young sweetie, there will be plenty more boys, trust me. good luck

Hun, u might want to be 13 to apply this website. Its person-friendly, basically bypass as a lot as him & hug him. anyhow u r thanks to youthful for a courting thats why ur fearful to hug him. i love that theory the different female reported grab his hand and say seem at this! & at the same time as u get there dont enable bypass!

figure out which one u like more. if you really like him, talk to him. but if your friend REALLY likes him too, back off until you know what's up with them. if it`s nothing, make your move!!
