I understand what you're saying. A lot of people don't realize that Kwanzwa and Channaka (I know I just ruined the spelling of that word! I don't know how to spell it!) are going on at this time of year. But it really just depends on your culture. They were raised a certain way and they celebrate holidays because of their beliefs. People shouldn't celebrate it if it's not their tradition but they should acknowledge that other people are celebrating it. I only celebrate Christmas. That is because I am a Christian.

" Everyone " or most everyone ? I for one enjoy the fun of all holidays. And, more than that, I celebrate a day and or a person even when it's not a designated 'special event day'. . . fancy that.
The Christmas season does annoy me with all the commercialism and buying the 'have to' gifts of thin thought...then the day (or several days, weeks) after...many people are back to being of thin heart, neglectful value of the heart of another. I see people for what they are, me included, and love all. I'm simply compassionate and patient as all are growing through their life / soul journey.

Business owners only push Christmas. Maybe you need to start a campaign for the other holidays.

I don't think they assume that. I think a lot of people only celebrate Christmas this time of year and don't celebrate other holidays. It's not that they assume there are no others.

MARKETING!!!!!
You ever see a Channukah tree lot?
Is there a CD of "Celebrities Sing the Songs of Kwanzaa"?
I've never heard anybody say , "Let's go for a drive to look at houses with seasonal winter festival lights."
You plan to climb the corporate ladder? If so there is undoubtedly a mistletoe at the top.
