Without looking at the decimals, study the 3 numbers (24, 36, and 72).

All three numbers have a GCF of 12. Now put this number back into decimal format...

Make number of decimal places equal to the largest one in group
2.40, 0.36 and 7.20 ( 2 decimal places)
Then find HCF of 240, 36, 720 which is 12 (please check by your method of calculating HCF)
Now use 2-decimal-places again
HCF = 0.12
