First off, let me say what a marvelous and deep question. Second of all, I would like to tell you about whenever I gave my wife a house for Christmas. It wasn't huge, just 1600sf, but she was very happy. Thirdly of all, it may be the thought that counts, but sometimes a big whopping gift will do the trick. Lastly off of all, anybody can make "Christmas memory gold" just by being togther, laughing and enjoying each other. Good luck, and don't try to overanalyze on how to make really good Christmas memories, just jump right in and do it!

P.S. This reply was meant to be somewhat humerous, like maybe a 5 or 6 on a scale of 1-10. Was it?

When I was about 3 and my brother was 7 he had a stomach virus and was so sick that he couldnt come to granmdas house to open presents. But I wasnt sick at all. Atleast I didnt tell anyone I was.
I got all dressed up in a frilly red dress with white lace trim(it was the early 80s) and hammed it up! We had a fun dinner. Watched Christmas cartoons. Then opened presents. After the presents, we had a picture session.
I have the loveliest picture of me on my grandmas lap. The next frame was me puking all over her!!!
Its kinda gross, but SO funny. I cant believe I was so sneaky even at 3!

I remember the year we got my nana a brand new recliner for christmas. hers was old and worn out and she really needed a new one. she was retired and enjoyed watching her fav tv shows or reading so we got her this chair and on christmas morning my dad had it hiding in the back of his truck. aften nana opened all her presents dad snuck upstairs and he and mom brought it down fer her. she was so excited. i guess it was my fav memory because nana passed away 2 years ago and we no longer have her with us for christmas. I miss her so much and Christmas hasnt been the same without her.
