has anyone ever seen a ghost i seen one on holiday and am really freaked out she looked right at me she was in a long white dress??

Consider it an honor that she came to YOU. Spirits and ghosts (not the same thing) come to those whom they trust and who can see them. They only appear when they think it's valuable to them, b/c it takes a lot of energy to materialize. It's scary, but it's because she thinks you can help her. Tell that she's dead (she may not know), and that it's okay for her to let go of her life. Tell her that her family is waiting on the Other Side. I wish that spirits or ghosts would materialize for me. I feel them around me all the time, but I've never actually seen one. There's one in my home right now, who thinks it's funny to spook my husband when he's trying to sleep. I think it's just a wayward spirit and not a ghost, who's looking to have a little fun. I've talked to it, banished it, yelled at it, and it still won't leave. It just likes us.
Make friends with the white dress woman, help her to find her way to the next dimension. You can do her a world of service if you can keep your fear in check-- she can't hurt you.

Yes many times, and to those shouting out they don't exist PROVE it, there are many reasons why people feel they see spirit people, a lot of the time there is a reason and they find it was no such thing, there are times when people want it so much that they believe it, you could have seen what you saw, and she probably had nothing to do with you, and was connected to the ground or building where you were, there is nothing to worry about, and just keep an open mind, the truth is there for all to see, and NO BODY can prove the after life does not exist, just as most will say you can't prove they do, but that answers the question, keep an open mind

Hi Rachael,
We have a photograph of a ghost, taken in the Cathedral in Pisa, Italy. We have had the camera and the photograph checked and there is no scientific reason why the image should be there. The photo is of the alter with the image of a priest next to it. The image only came out when the photo was printed.
My hubby is not convinced but I am. He is a scientist and says it is a flaw in the image or the exposure.

I have seen many SPIRITS in my life, but never a ghost. A long white dress is kind of a cliche' but it can happen. If you do not have anyone in your family who has (honestly) seen/communicated with spirits, could this have been a trick of the light? I sense that you do, but this knowledge has not been shared with you yet. Please start with the women in your bloodline, provided you know where they are. Meditate and clear your mind. Go back to where you saw her and listen/watch with your mind. She may have a message for you or it may be for someone else. Spirits aren't demons and they cannot hurt the living, don't be afraid.

Yes - people who say they don't exist have just never had the pleasure of a visit. Ghosts are just here because they haven't crossed over, maybe they are avoiding judgment or needed to finish something from their life - but they do exist. You are lucky - don't be afraid since she was in white it is very likely a good omen of something you wished for about to come true. Good Luck!

I have on occaision seen a ghost, freaked me out the first time, but usually my 'ghosts' just do naughty things like opening or closing doors, moving things and playing tricks. If you're really afraid, tell the ghost to leave and that they are not welcome!

My 12 year old was nodding off the other evening when he felt someone/something poke him the nose...thats spooked him a treat, and No it wasn't me!
My Mum had the same the other she was sat in the chair when something touched her arm, she saw a shadow but nothing there. This is totally out of character for my mum to mention something like this as she is a firm believer of once your dead your dead.

One night when I was walking home from work(about 11 pm) .I got this really strange feeling so I looked behind me. There standing by a car was a man .Only problem was he looked like he was glowing all over.Freaked me out I ran home an never walked that way home after work .

I see them on a daily basis because where I'm at is where there was an American vs. Indian war where I live now and it really doesn't bother me seeing ghosts standing at attention where they look right at me.

I have, a few times, where we live now there are some strange things happen and both my gf and myself have seen and described the same woman that travels only between 2 rooms
