For Christmas after my sixteenth birthday my parents bought me just a tiny diamond ring (my birthstone) and had it sitting on a stuffed animal under the tree. It wouldn't have been so special except the diamond was from my mom's original wedding ring and earlier that year she had spent 3 months in the hospital and almost died so it was just really special.

A four-lane slot car set when I was eleven years old. I played with it for about 4 years and we used to have competitions with the whole neighborhood. Man would I love to have that slot car set today.
