Well, I'm from Germany (I am Italian) and I travelled several times to Scotland. I must admit that I have never met a Scottish lesbo but I don' t think Scottish "do" something special with them. They aren't even visible. I also travelled to England. There are English lesbians visible (and I never felt free like this before ! Great compliment to the English people!!!) but not in Scotland. Perhaps the people in Scotland do have some problems with homosexual people but I don' t know exactly. Perhaps Scotland is more old fashion in this case; but I don' t really know.
Another possibility is, that in Scotland there aren't any lesbians. ;-)

But nevertheless I love Scotland, though I'm a lesbian! But I have never seen one of me!

I am from Scotland and I can tell you that of course there are Scottish lesbians! As a nation we are no more homophobic than any other nation!
I have several friends who are lesbians and I can tell you that they definately are not 'butch', they are stunning!
I wish people wouldn't judge Scotland so harshly when they clearly don't know what they are talking about!

Oh they are there, its just the culture, in scotland the females are so butch and man-like that the lesbians can go about their business totally un-noticed. As a gay living north of the border I am constantly asked if I enjoyed the Rangers/Celtic Football game or this sport or that sport and I always give the same answer " Ladies, I am gay, I don;t do sports"

Why do people pull us scots apart so much .I am scottish and certainly not butch just very proud of my culture so why dont you get your facts right before you start pulling us to bits .
