You can burn a lot of songs on a CD if you burn the CD as a MP3 disk, but you can only listen to them on a PC or on player that can read MP3 disks.

You can't fit many songs if you burn the CD as an audio disk, but you can listen to audio disks in practically any player.

An audio CD can hold either 99 tracks, or 80 minutes of music, whichever comes first. If you have an MP3 player, you can put up to 700MB of data, usually about 150-200 tracks depending on the compression rate, but there is no limit other than the amount of storage space.

And the first answer is completely wrong.

If you convert your songs to mp3 format, a CD may hold up to 200 songs. It will not play in a regular CD player, though.

the most songs I've put on a CD are 15. If you crowd them on a 650 or 750 mb Cd, some of them won't play and most will be garbled because they are too crowded. You simply can't fill the CD too full.
