Hey, i live in New York. I'm only fourteen (as in, i'm not going to start seriously working for a couple of years), but one of my dreams is to maybe work for Vogue magazine. and i don't mean as a model (i'm not tall enough, probably not pretty enough, im only average looking). At my highschool, everyone says I'm extremely fashionable, and everyone is always comlimenting my outfits and telling me that I always look so chique. But does anyone know how i can prepare myself to work there? maybe as a designer, writer, editor, anything? if anyone from vogue answered my question, that would be like, super cool, but since i know that there might not be anyone on here from vogue, anyone who works for magazines, in fashion, or ANYONE who might have a clue or give me a website (besides vogue.com) would be so helpful! thanks in advance!

I'd double-major in both journalism AND fashion design.

intern first. after you seriously decide this is what you absolutely want to do with your life/career, prepare yourself for a fashion or design school like parsons. then sign up for an internship at any fashion magazine, or a designer. start now to build your resume. start a fashion club, etc.-good luck also, you should look into journalsim. i'm sure highschools have journ. elective.
