This may sound stupid...but I had the same problem with my gf two years ago, and we got over it by writing eachother notes, basically just trading notes with eachother until we got basically tired of writing...lol and wanted to start talking to eachother.
the cramps in our hands gave us something to laugh about together .

Why are you scared? If you can't talk, what ARE you doing?
The basis for every relationship is communication. If you aren't communicating but are having a physical then you got a lot of problems.
If you can't talk to someone, you have no business having sex with them.
So what is the attraction?
Get over the shyness by being yourself in front of him. Are you shy with girls? If not, and only with him, then you are not ready to have a bf. If you are shy around everyone, then you have got to learn how to overcome that, and until you do, you really shouldn't be having a boyfriend.

there is a way to over come this, I knew a guy who would not talk to me for days, And i really wanted to get to know him, Soo without asking questions, I made this game up, And he and I ended up playing it all night long, Get contruction white paper, cut into cards, like flash cards, make about 20 cards, Write out a question, which he has to answer honestly, make another 20 cards, and put in another pile upside down, If you dont think he answered the question card honestly, then make him choose the boob card, On the boob card has instruction on what you would like him to do, for example, Run up the stairs and scare my little sister, Or something to that affect, You will have alot of fun, and get to know each other more, and you talk more,

Why are you in a relationship where you are too scared to talk to each other? Is it just based on sex or something? Just start talking to each other... how do you even know you're really in a relationship?
