that's a peace and love message to arab poeple, why do we hate each others? always insulting other nationalities and countriesin chat rooms, in football matches, in forums...? why are we racist between us? even if we share many things, language, history, values, and sometimes religion?
i'm a moroccan girl, and i'm sick of this! moroccan and algerian hate each others, tunisian and egyptian hate each others, moroccan and egyptian too sometimes, why? what is the logical reason for this, the absurde is that we do this for stupid reasons like football, i'm serious, when i talk with this with some egyptian friends, they tell me only for football!!!
let's change this bad habit, only arab chat rooms are "mahzala", you read only hate and insulting messages!
as a moroccan i tell you that i love you, all of you, egyptian tunisian, algerian, lebanese., saudian, qatari......
let's stop hating and judging poeple according to them nationalities!
answer or comment pls!!

Egyptian here!!!
You're absloutely right. Everybody hates everybody. It's not like some of the answereres said that some nationalities have nothing but love for all other nationalities. What you said is true. Then again you can't "generalize" for all Egyptians, or all "Tunisians" or all "Morrocans". I am sure that there are wise people out there who have nothing but good feelings for the rest of the Arab world. I believe the reasons are:
1- Soccer!!
This is very true. Soccer is supposed to be a sport which brings nothing but good feelings. However, soccer brings hatred and fanaticisim.
2- "Everybody hates he who is similar , yet a little different"!!!
Think about this!!! The greatest "kind" of hatred is this hatred which is addressed to people who are close to us, yet are not completely like us. This is why we want to start a huge fight with our family members at some time. This is because we live togther. We think a like. Yet we are different.
I want you to think about the amount of horrible things committed against the Arab world by America. Still we don't hate America and some of us are willing to go there and live and praise the great ethics of the Americans. This is because Americans are so different from us. The theory of hating "the similar" doesn't apply to them.
Another thing which proves this theory is the fact that there must be many great things in the Arab world. Yet, we don't try to explore eacth other's up comings. How many times have u heard of an Arab country using the expertise of another country in any field?

3- The peace treaty in 1979
I am not going to analyse what happened in this treaty. I am just saying that when I was younger, I believed that this treaty was a perfectly smart move by the Egyptians. And that the Arab countries are to be blamed for not sharing in it. As I grew older I started to compare the amount of benefits we had with the losses we suffered from. Only history can do this comparison, but I tend to believe that this treaty was the corner stone in ending what can be called as "The Arab Dream"

A cheerful view for the future:
I can't just throw these stones in the pool and leave it stirring like that. I believe that tomorrow has better chances and prospects for the Arab youth to relive what we had in the past. I believe in the youth and believe in their capabilties to abridge all the gabs between the peoples of the Arab world.
The question is: What to do? and how to do it?

How a wonderful life and thanks for the wonderful question.

You are absolutely true, and thank you for speaking out like this.

& I wish people replace hatred with understanding.
I wish we just replace all this negativity with new vision towards the universe. We may Convince each other, that there is no need to put each other down. What is the point ????

Yahoo answers I think is a good path to start from and learning how to share our thoughts, and to figure that we may sometimes have the same pain.

God Bless You
والله يوفقك

Peace be unto you Curious Girl! The reason there's so much hatred, anger and animosity between races of people is because of ignorance and a lack of knowledge of who their GOD is?

The Almighty God, the Creator of all living things is a God of LOVE, and Satan is the god of hate and author of confusion, lies and deceptions. He cannot do anything good because there's no good in him. When people choose to believe his lies, half truths, religious ideologies and separatism they fall into a trap and snare with no way out. They fall into sin which begets violence, and hatred which begets racism and more violence.

Until mankind realize that they must turn to the Almighty, and that he's their only redemption...there will be more and more malice and unkindness in the world. But be encouraged, GOD loves you and you can ask him to bring forth peace. Then you will be able to rest in His peace which surpasses all understanding so that his love can conquer all the hurt and pain.

Peace,

Hope

Hey, I love every Arab too! People are mixed up, I guess. But not everyone hates each other. Here in Egypt people find out my Dad lived in Morocco and we're originally Lebanese and I lived in Jerusalem, and they're like, "Welcome! We're all brothers!"

I am a Zionist Jew. There is nothing I want more then to be able to visit my cousins in Egypt, and have them greet me happily. There is nothing I would love more then to have my cousins from Egypt come to Israel to visit me and have great conversations together at the dinner table, and stay at my house. Every Zionist Jew wants the same thing, peace with his Arab neighbors. Why do you reject me?
