When I did the PA for the Prince William Pirates, for 5 games while the regular PA guy was otherwise occupied, I always played "Ride of the Valkerie" when a Pirate's reliever came into the game. In case you don't remember, this is the music that played in "Apocalypse Now" as the helicopters got ready to make a run on the VC village on the beach. Or maybe "Ghost Riders in the Sky".

I would have to be the closer.
My song would be "Eruption" by Van Halen.
Mariano Rivera and Billy Wagner have "Sandman"
Trevor Hoffman has "Hells Bells"
It really pumps the crowd up when these guys come out in close games.

Midnight Syndacite (group) - 13th Hour(album) - Forgotten Path (song) Because its dark, ominous, and there's nothing quite like the feeling of dread knowing a Knuckle Ball Pitcher is walking out. "I dont even know where its gonna go." - Tom Candiotti

Back in Black-AC/DC, Smells Like Teen Spirit-Nirvana, or Sweet Child O' Mine-Guns&Roses. Hard to pick one out of those 3...

Great question! I actually have been picking an at bat song for the past few years with friends! The past songs include "Fire Woman"-The Cult, "SheBop"-Cyndi Lauper, and "She"-Kiss. We also like to make up our own at bat songs for players and sing them ourselves!

Enter Sandman by Metallica because thats Mariano,s song. Makes me mad Billy Wagner thinks that he can use that song too.

"That Smell" by Lynard Skynard. I hate that song, but I think the chorus would be kinda' funny to enter to.
