i saw that trick, my guess is he puts the quarter up his sleeve or in his pocket or something, then when he first shakes the can (before he opens it) he like flicks it or something to make the sound then, after he opens it, he puts the quarter from his sleeve into the can while the soda is flowing so you don't notice it, then he can shake it out again and you see the quarter in the can..
it's ALL disillusion and/or camera tricks
