most likely : Maria es divertida ( her personality). Maria is fun.
If Maria is amused only at that moment, ex. she goes to a party and having fun: then #2.
I would go with #1.

I don't know what u exactly mean;
In Spanish is correct to say : "Maria es divertida", when we mean she is a very funny person (all the time); and, "Maria está divertida", when she is having fun just at THAT moment.
Good Luckkk :)

ESTA is the correct form
WHY?
Because notice the "a" in there
a- is commonly used for the femine version of estar. (So most of the time when you see a "a" at the end in a spanish sentence its referring to something about females.
Es- can be used if theres a male but Maculine is always dominant over femine so if theres one boy and two girls you use es. Esta refers to a sentence with females only which this sentence has!

You should study the differences between SER and ESTAR. Then the answers to all 4 of your questions will be very clear. OK?
I'm sure your teacher gave you a list of temporary things, location, personality traits, professions, gender, things that DO NOT CHANGE...??? Study miss!
And MARIA is capitalized in Spanish, too.
