You must have had a false positive. Those OTC drugstore tests are slightly less reliable than what a doctor can give in their office.
(Or perhaps you miscarried...[ugh; excuse me], but possibly.)
See your gynecologist.

Is it a full on period or just some spotting? Either way go to the doctor. You may have experienced a miscarriage and need to get checked out. If it's just spotting, then you may have a threatened miscarriage and your dr. can help you. Just call the dr. If you have an OB/GYN, most of them have an after hours service that may be able to help you.

Are you sure it's not implantation bleeding?
It could also be a miscarriage - it happens to a lot of women in the first couple weeks of pregnancy - many women never even know they're pregnant and assume the bleeding is their period.

if you are bleeding bright red blood like a period, you likely are having an early miscarraige. Its pretty common, actually. give your doc a call and get their opinion.
