I wouldn't spend a nickle and would invest in a new rig instead.

I am using a XFX Geforce 5200 8x/4x(128 MB) with my Asrock 845 chipset board, it is decent in performance. If you want to play as well as you have a budget constraint it is the best option, 5600 chip based AGPs are better proposition but you have to spend much almost like a low end pci express card.

whilst upgrading the gadget could in all threat be a greater effective investment in the long-term, you're able to evaluate the HIS Radeon HD 4670 1GB 128-bit DDR3 AGP 4X/8X HDCP waiting Video Card. the cardboard runs $112 on NewEgg. i could basically flow this path in case you propose to maintain your present day gadget for a yet another a million+ years nonetheless because of the fact the cardboard would not be properly suited with present day structures that use PCI-exhibit. Your greater effective determination could be to seek for a used severe end NVIDIA AGP video card you're able to with a bit of luck %. up for < $50 and desire it final till you may get around to a gadget improve.
