I agree 100% with you. There are a lot of things that girls are not allowed to do that boys can-- my parents had later curfews for my brothers than me. All I say is that if a rule applies to me, it should apply to all. But like someone said, men and women are equal, but not alike. Going out alone in the streets is much safer for a male than a female. I think that if there is something where men and women both are capable of doing the same thing- like many jobs (in america) today, then they should be given the same chance. Going back to the stereotype that men are supposed to do more of the physical work, while women do the less strenuous job of housework-I think it still holds, but in a different way. Now the housework has become the physical labor and being the breadwinner is the easier task. Also the transformation of work going from working in a factory or a farm has changed to more emphsis on the mental- and I believe that men and women are definitely equal on that level, whereas physically it is not always true (women are USUALLY shorter, less muscle mass, not always tho)

i say yes,, i grew up in an era when it wasnt legal for blacks to vote,, showing my age eh,, and i was always saying that wasnt fair,, i watched the womens movement of the 60s and thought thats cool,, i just dont want a woman applying for a job that requires lifting things that she cant lift to begin with then sue the company for a hard job,, other than that women are equal to men,, i am for total equal rights,, side by side,, but you know what is wierd is that my wife doesnt feel that way at all,,

Ok For starters who gave men the right to think they are better then women not me but dont get me wrong i like men but better then me not likely.Dont ever let any man belittle you into thinking you cant do it just as good or better then them it is their god forsaken egos that make them think they are high about us all.NOT .Go for what you what to do in life and if it does not work out try something else that is your right and no one elses. No man has that right to dictate where you will go with your life .

women have the rite to abortion men do not have as much of a say.
women have many more oppurtunities to work as leaders in local government, than men do now. women often are treated to incentives by men, even though they make more money now. women look well in mens clothing, but men look obsurd in drag. men are expected to financially support their lovers. women are not. women can.
women and men are equal. but their design and abilities are distinct. women are not concerned with logic but are very instinctive and intuitive. men are generally a bit stronger than women who have a higher threshold for pain. men are consistant as leaders women are do well at ensuring a clean and comfortable home. to men this is a lower priority. children need both for parents for thier love and discipline.

Considering women have the right to abort children I would say they have the ultimate Government given right.
The Government granted no right for men to save these children.
This right of abortion have been exercised 48,000,000 times in America since it was granted in 1973 via Roe v. Wade.

Of course women have as many rights as men. The problem is that it is not always recognized because the world, as you can see, is mainly run by men.

males and females are different...so they are not strictly "equal" in nature... But, under the laws of men they should be granted the same protections of the law....that dose not alter the fact that there are clearly differences and limitations unique to each gender.... girls just can not do all that boys can... and vice-a-versa.
