Anybody knows that if you use duct tape, you also use WD-40. That's a no-brainer! You should also have baling wire, razor blades (get 'em in boxes of 1000), fence-pliers, and other stuff. So if the surface is smooth, shave off as much as possible with a blade, then squirt on a nice thick coat of WD-40. By the time you've finished one bottle of beer, you can wipe off the remaining goop. Give it another light spray, wipe off, then spray some 409 to clean of the remaining WD-40. Go have another beer to celebrate your success.

Alot depends on the surface material you are removing it from.If the material won't be damaged by mineral spirits, or yourself for that matter, then you can use it. That or another petroleum based product should do it. If you cannot use any of these, there is an ecofriendly pump spray product that will work, but I cannot recall the name at this time. it is sold at do it hardware stores.Good luck!

a product called goo-gone works on any surface, from Wal-Mart. If you want to use something you have around the house, try cooking spray, vegetable oil, or wd40, they all work well,

Hi,
Have you ever tried a subantance called goo-gone? It just about removes any sticky subantance.
