Don't wait a week to see a doctor! I've had numerous piercings and numerous infections, and not only are they nasty, but they can be very, very dangerous. Plus, the longer you wait, the harder they are to treat.
Going yellow doesn't sound like an infection, but it does sound like a reaction of some sort. Take a couple of hours out of your day to stop by a clinic TODAY. I know it sucks going to a doctor, but it would suck even more if you ended up needed surgery because you had a problem such as kelkoids, and you just left it.

technically your piercing continues to be healing (abdomen piercings take 6 months or extra to heal) and white does not be a colour you may favor to be stricken about. besides the indisputable fact that because you're experiencing swelling and a foul smell from what's popping out, you possibly do have an infection. does the piercing website experience warm to the contact? if so, then actually. do sea salt soaks (a million/4 teaspoon of sea salt in line with 8 oz..of water) until eventually you may bypass to a known practitioner and get antibiotics. even if you do...do not TAKE OUT THE PIERCING!! in case you pick to after the an infection has cleared then that's one element, yet taking it out with the an infection nonetheless cutting-edge leaves you the prospect of coming up and abscess if the piercings hollow closes.

ok.. i got mine peirced 4 months ago & it got infected.. when it is infected the whole is red, itching, hurting, bleeding, & pussing.. i have a hard thing on it too! i think it is just skin tissue building up, becuase my ears did that for a while when i got them peirced but it went away!! my advice on cleaning it well is to use a cottin ball, q- tip or a papertowel & put some hydrogen peroxide on it ( it seems to work well, even better than alcohol & iot doesn't burn.... ) then after u do that, put some neosporin on the belly ring & slide it back in.... i started cleaning it well like that & it is much better!!!! i wish u good luck!!!! p.s. make sure the bellybutton rings are surgical steel!!!! bye** * : )

If it is infected, it will be sore, red and hurt when pressed. You will probably be able to see swelling and pus (yellow or greenish). It may smell bad.
I suggest you take ring or bar out. Clean area with TCP or water with salt added. See how it is after Christmas.
If you are really worried and its really sore or full of pus, go to A & E but dont expect too much sympathy.
i like belly piercings but all piercings can cause trouble. It is essential to keep them clean.

it could just be the impurities of the peircing comin out. if you have recently change the bar you could have accidently torn the skin inside which means its healing again and pushing anything out. i had that several times. was a pain in the @rse but it should be fine. if you are really concerned go to a local piercing place or tattoo shop (they generally know about both) and ask them. enjoy ya piercing! they look great in the summer!

It would be ***** & painfull if it were infected. The belly button percing takes a long time to heal. It sounds fine like its healing. Try to not touch the metal & keep it clean with sea salt spay, they sell it at percing shops. & make sure you dont have an allergy to the metal.

its infected if it turns red and starts to hurt, since it is yellow the type of metal the ring is made out of you might be allergic to, i suggest trying a ring made of different metal, and if it doesnt go away within a week see a doctor

i would go back to where you had it pierced and see if they can suggest a different ring, as it sounds like you are allergic to the one thats in place! in the mean time i would bathe the area twice daily with a tepid saltwater solution to help keep it clean

If it was infected, it would be itching and if it happens go back to where you had it pierced or your doctors.
