I believe mixing "normal" terms with "technical" ones is important, the audience will feel motivated, most of the time speakers say what the audience wants to hear, other time the speakers needs to communicate something personal or intrinsic. I will say do not worry about what other´s may feel or think, if you are honest and proffesional things will be good, also, like in t elevision business time is very important know how to open and how to close the communication.
