Kings have the special ability to move the original forward and the added addition of backwards, yet, as with any other checker piece, if a king is in jumping range of a regular piece, unfortunately the king can be jumped. However, if a king is behind a regular piece, it cannot be jumped.

yeah. the only special thing about the king is that he can jump back and forth. other then that, he is just like the rest.
