Hi,
I can't see a James Bond character on a one-armed bandit.
However my nephew loves a game of 5-card draw poker with me, playing for "Tazos" - not real money.
He sees that as a "sophisticated" game.
Can you see James playing pool in some dingy pub ?
I doubt it.
I dressed up with bow tie & stuff, with my old mate, and played roullette at the casino in Monte Carlo.
We won nicely, so I will relay a tip -
Wait for three reds, then shove a lot on black.
Or vice versa
Odds & evens, lows or highs etc.
Don't do a James Bond and put a stack on number 13.
It does not work.Chances, not odds I suppose.
I would give 007 a game of Buckaroo, or Cleudo.
Anything for a laugh.
Merry Thingys,
Bob.

is poker fasionable but i think its because its a high rolling game which can be played between 5+ people, it seems to be a james bond style game
most importantly its based on the book by ian flemming at least 50 years ago

Poker wasn't a Bond game - he preferred other forms of gambling. And the fruit drink has to be shaken, not stirred.

Actually he played Texas Hold'em, which is about reading your opponents and involves a lot of strategy. In the original novel the game was baccarat, not as exciting or suspensful as Tex Hold'em.
