There is now a Fern Records out of Cologne Germany, which I'm sure is unrelated.
I see no online information for your Fern Records, Inc., but, if this was a business actually incoporated in the State of Kentucky in the 1950s or 1960s, you should be able to contact the State archives of such public records to view their formal articles of incorporation, which may give better clues to further your search.
