Where did you get accepted and what GPA and LSAT score did you have? Is it possible with a 150 lsat score and a 3.0 GPA (I also come from a diverse background)? Any tips? Also, whats the best angle to take with the personal statement? THANKS!

I think what you're looking for could be found at

lawschoolnumbers.com

The webpage has registered users and you can search by school. It shows the person's LSAT score, GPA, and whether or not they were accepted to that school.

As for your personal statement, I'm coming to realize that what you write is less important or of equal importance to HOW you write it. Be witty, memorable, and emotional. Think of it like you were giving a toast-- laughs, tears, then more laughs. Proofread, proofread, proofread. Most colleges offer this service, so take advantage, then ask your friends, then your teachers!

My GPA was a 3.96, LSAT 168 and I have been accepted to Duke, Georgetown, and NYU so far. I do not think that your stats are bad. 150 is about average for the LSAT. Definitely play up your diverse background though. This is a quality treasured by most law schools, especially if you have what they consider to be strong numbers.

Good luck!
