Uhh... probably not.

You know, I wasn't there, but I've heard nothing but bad things about the Harding Administration... and also US Grant... and then there was Nixon.

Don't get me wrong--I don't like Bush--but talking about "most corrupt regime" and all might not be right either. It would probably be good to study some of the older "regime"s first before trying to figure out which one was most corrupt.

Um, gosh, I seem to remember a president who knowingly authorized a housebreaking so he ought to win the election? Hmmm...what else. Oh yeah, yet another president theory he ought to misinform the whole usa and escape with it. And who grew to become into that guy who killed himself, some government expert the place there remains questions approximately if it grew to become into suicide or homicide? So perhaps we've a homicide. each and every thing human beings think of Bush is incorrect on is unquestionably stuff that maximum of Congress and/or the international community agreed with Bush on. you have "little question" this is the main corrupt administration? ok. constructive.

You've only seen the tip of the ice berg. Bush is the most secretive President this country has ever had. On a recent trip to another country, even his sh** was collected and labeled top secret. Can you imagine what you would be saying and thinking if you had access to all his top secret documents???

I'm still thinking that there is no way he could ever be as corrupt as his CIA father. There is a lot of difference between incompetence and intentional misuse of power.

Corruption, such a nasty word and it is usually used by the underdog to try to undermine someone in political power that they disagree with. In addition, some of the people pointing fingers at President Bush are more corrupt and shameful than the President. Therefore, with that statement out of the way, here is what Wikipedia has to say about "corruption".

"In broad terms, political corruption is the misuse by government officials of their governmental powers for illegitimate, usually secret, private gain. Misuse of government power for other purposes, like repression of political opponents and general police brutality, is not considered political corruption.

All forms of government are susceptible to political corruption. Forms of corruption vary, but include bribery, extortion, cronyism, nepotism, patronage, graft, and embezzlement."

Now to break it down.

"illegitimate, usually secret, private gain." Ahhh, here is Clinton using his office for a little extra on the side. I have not seen any valid proof that Bush is doing that. All of his private businesses are being run by others while he is in office and none of it is secret.

"Misuse of government power for other purposes, like repression of political opponents and general police brutality, is not considered political corruption." Therefore, if this is what you are referring to then here again, Bush is not guilty. In addition, he has NOT used his office to repress any political opponent and there has not been any GENERAL police brutality. Yes, there has been police brutality, but it was happening way before Bush came into office.

Bribery - show me where (with good sources, not youtube) where there has been bribes made by Bush (or to Bush) for illegal gain. Then before you start pointing the finger. Take a good look at ALL of the senators and representatives in Washington, DC and the lobbyist. Can you tell me and look me in the eye as you are doing it and say that none of them have NEVER taken a "bribe" to vote a certain way on a bill?

Extortion, (Extortion is a criminal offense, which occurs when a person either obtains money or property from another through coercion or intimidation or threatens one with physical harm unless they are paid money or property.) Here again, Bush has not done this. And no, youtube is not a reliable source. Though you might want to check in with the Mafia, I am sure they could give a good example of how extortion works.

Cronyism (Cronyism is partiality to long-standing friends, especially by appointing them to public office without regard for their qualifications. In political terms, the word "cronyism" is usually used derogatorily.) This might come the closest, but since most of the appointees by the President, except for his immediate cabinet come under the microscope, this hardly happens. the worst case happened under a democrat, John F. Kennedy when he appointed Robert S. McNamara as Secretary of Defense (Vietnam War) with absolutely NO experience at all. So this section might have some slight validity, but it is true with ALL of the presidents. Some just choose wiser than others do.

Nepotism (Nepotism means favoring relatives because of their relationship rather than because of their abilities) Bush has no relatives serving in office with him. So this is moot point. Here again a democrat was one of the most recent offenders in this section. John F. Kennedy was accused of nepotism for his appointment of his brother Robert Kennedy as Attorney General.

Patronage (act of a so-called patron who supports or favors some individual, family, group or institution. A patronage system can be described as a system where someone in a powerful position (the Patron) offers handouts in return for support.) Here again, President might be guilty of this as have ALL of the president's before him been guilty. In our government, this might amount to giving a very loyal and capable follower an ambassadorship or some other civil service job. Though, all civil service positions must take a test now before being hired.

graft (whereby someone profits personally from the public budget) - Once more this is not something that President Bush is doing or could do easily.

Embezzlement (Embezzlement is the fraudulent appropriation by a person to his own use of property or money entrusted to that person's care but owned by someone else. i.e.: a public officer can embezzle funds from the treasury.) Here again, the President would have a VERY hard time doing this little number.

Before making the claim that President Bush is the MOST corrupt Regime in Us History, you need to go back and read your US History. None of the previous presidents were shining examples of morality. Most recently were Clinton, JFK, Nixon, Roosevelt, and even Washington were accused of corruption. So to answer your question,"NO" I don't think this is the most corrupt regime in US History.

9/11 was not a government conspiracy. President Bush did not orchestrate the disaster. It is closed. Regardless of what you liberals want to believe, it was done by terrorists and it started before Bush came into office. I don’t hear anyone wanting to investigate Clinton for not capturing Bin Laden when he had the chance (not once but several times). 9/11 was just a precursor of what will occur if the Liberals get their wishes and we pull out of Iraq. The war comes back here. To our streets, to our homes, to our way of life. Remember in WWII we had U-Boats in the Gulf of Mexico off Louisiana and Japan was sending over Paper Bombs. With today's weapons, we are only a "push away".

I am sure you will not agree with me as you seem to have very liberal leanings or you would not have posted this question. And guess what that is ok because that is what this country is ALL about, being able to express different views without fear of persecution. I have a t-shirt with the following saying on the back “My son is standing watch tonight so that YOU and I may sleep under the blanket of Freedom”. Have a Merry Christmas and count your blessings that you can celebrate Christmas.
