256 MB is a good card! Pci slots suck unless it is a PCI express. But if you only have PCI slots then that would be the best for your system. You can and will be able to play good games like Quake 4 and Doom 3

Simple.. NO! If you check it out you guys that say yes dont know anything about video chipsets. The 9250 series doesnt support directX 9.0c.... therefore alot of the newer games including BF2 ,COD2, Company of Heores and such, you wont be able to play because the card does not support a high enough level of directX. I would stay away from ATI.. alot of their chipsets dont go up to 9.0c. stick with nVidia GeForce. may be more expensive, but trust me, well worth it! (only if you have a computer worth uprgrading)

Yeah I'd say of course. I have a 128 MB card and I can play CS:S fine (well with a little lag but it's ignorable). Your video card can play medium with the smoothest fps, but high settings might have less fps BUT it's still unnoticable.

Simple words: Yes It's good :D (Hey wanna trade?!) XD

It should work fine. If you already have it install it. If not you might want to look around at different cards in the same price range. I suggest looking here www.tigerdirect.com, www.pcclub.com, www.newegg.com

simple answer: no

onboard memory doesn't mean anything when the graphics processor is 4 years old...

...time for a motherboard upgrade then.
