yes. and it is your call which way you celebrate...buying gifts is my least favorite part of Christmas I do as little as I have to...instead I open my home to family and friends, I cook, bake, and I helped with food donations, our school collected over 6,000 pounds of can goods and other necessity to be donated to the Pantry for the needy.

Christmas should be about reaching out for one another, but Christmas has been so commercialized now that it seems like it's often more about getting the best and/or most gifts rather than just spending quality time with your family and friends.

After all the gift shopping you are almost to frazzled and stressed to even enjoy the time with your family. It should be about enjoying each other's company. Next year, I am just gonna frame pictures of me and my family and send them to people for Christmas. No more of this frazzled feeling.

Yea I agree with you 100% Christmas is too much about spending. There is a lot of other ways to give. I think overall people have forgot what it's all about.

Of course, that's very idealistic. Make love and not war. Treat everyone as your equal. A lot of things arent the way they ought to be. The only thing you can do is play your own part.
