I am sorry about your parents, you may not think so now, but you will be just fine. Your parents are divorced, but, they still are your parents and they will always love you. Their splitting up was strictly between them and had nothing to do with you. You will still be able to spend time with them, just not all together. My parents divorced when I was a kid and even then, I knew it was for the best. Divorce happens alot these days, talk to some of your friends and you're bound to find someone whose parents are also divorced. Good luck to you and I'm sure all will be fine.

The same way all the rest of us have. Focus on your life not theirs! Remember that divorce is not a family trait. Grow up, and be a better person than they. There is no reset button for family problems. What has happened has happened. You either have to let it go, or let it consume you with self pity. I say if they can't be a good example let their lives be a good warning!

Its not your fault and never ever think that. You go to your parents you tell them how you feel. Good parents will listen and help you with your feelings. If your parents wont listen talk to a school counselor, clergyman or some other trusted adult.

First of all, be assured that it is not your fault! Second, let both of your parents know how sad you feel. Last, maintain a good and loving relationship with both of them. Learn what you can from their mistakes so you don't make the same ones. They love you!

Sorry to hear that. Try to keep in touch with both of them. Remember they love you. And it's really best for them to part, as they are not happy. I've been through this too. Hugs!

Punish them for punishing you. My parents split and I became suicidal. Seriously, just continually let them know you need them, be as needy as you need to be, this is their doing, and not in one way your fault, so take everything you need, security, love, neediness, money, whatever it is that you need to continue to grow into a normal functioning adult and dont be ashamed.
