In Today's society, we have a lot of people having premartial sex and the one's who are suffering from it are the children because a lot of them are growing up in one parent households which is so much harder for them because the teaching is unbalanced due to the fact that the other parent isn't able to contribute. God has ordained sex to be had in marriage so there won't be a need for confusion or baby mommas and baby daddies. God says where there is confusion, there is evil works. So that let's us know that sex outside of marraige is confusion, so why do we keep doing it?

what?

it's quite natural for people to have sex, and people were doing it BEFORE created god, the problem is not in premarital sex (ever heard of contraception?) but in some people who do not feel obligated to raise their kids

I'm 17 and a virgin. I'm not waitintg till marriage just until I find someone I'd want to lose it with. Your attitudes towards sex before marriage will all depend on how you were raised. My older brother was born out of wedlock, so was my great grandmother and my father so it's not something that was frowned upon. It was never praised in my families it was just one of those things. If you are raised in a strict or highly religious you are more likely to wish to abstain till marriage. I think the way you're raised and experiences have everything to do with it. At the end of the day it's personal choice. Teens are always going to have sex it's nothing new and it won't change. So telling teens to abstain is not going to help rates of STDs and teen pregnancy in fact if anything it'll have the opposite to the desired effect as many will have sex merely to rebel. I think the best way is not abstinence (as this won't happen) but good education (and obviously it's going wrong somewhere just go to the teen section of yahoo at any time to figure that out) about protection and the consequences of getting pregnant at 15, gonorrhea at 17 or whatever. i don't think it's hard I just think that different people have different attitudes and morals (not necessarily better or worse just different) and their behaviour 9/10 reflects this.

You are right in a lot of ways, but did you wait until you were 40 years of age to have sex? Some people have honry hormones and so forth, and so have it earlier. Nothing wrong with sex if protected and aimed NOT to have children. Who wants to wait so many years? Are you still a virgin and if so how old?

Honestly, if I had children I would tell them not to have sex before marriage, but these days women are getting married in their late 30's to 50s and YOU want to wait til then for the big ado? Come on. It will be old and shriveled. People act when they are young, not old.

People do not wait because we don't get married at a young age anymore. If everyone used birth control (within or out of marriage) And only had children when they were ready,( finacially and emotionally) then we would not have those problems. Everyone does not believe in G-d or the bible or that G-d wants us to wait for marriage.

It's starting to happen more in high school and i think it has to do somewhat with the out of place students that have no friends and when a boy comes along they will willingly give their virginity to him to please him. Some people say this isn't the case but it is very true. In some other cases they just want to find out what is so exciting that they have to wait untill they get married. And when they find out they it's too late to turn back and then there's the possibility they'll get pregnant.

I know a girl (lady) that is a virgin and she's 42, and because she is a virgin and an old maid, no one wants her.

In the Bible it says that they types of women who are virgins and good women are valuable far beyond rubies because they are true and loving and wait for the right man. What about her?

It is hard because most people dont even try.
Alot of people think it is easier to give in to lust.
But this lack of discipline leads to many problems.
Some of which you have outlined.

So in the end which way is the easiest?
The God way?
Or the animal way?

One of the thing that make sex more intense is the forbidden fruit syndrome. Note marrage is not for the benefit of those that get married,it is for the offspring

I think it's peer pressure. Particularly for young women. I agree wholeheartedly with your opinion. I believe most guys truely want their wife to be a virgin

There wasn't any confusion when our people were matriarchal. The whole patriarchal system caused the confusion. You know who your mother is, why not just keep with that?
