Are any free agents or trades being discussed?

I don't want to hear abot moves they've already made; I want to know if they're going to do anything else.

Yes, we're looking to move Reggie Sanders or Emil Brown or maybe even both, as you know we're stocked in the outfield. Our interests right now are Joel Pineiro (Seattle just let him go), Chris Reitsma and still Jeff Suppan (KC is his old stomping ground when he was nothing more than an inning eater really). And anything else that comes up, only Dayton Moore really knows I guess.

Well, I think that the Royals made a very dumb move when acquiring Octavio Dotel as their new closer. There were much better relievers in the Free Agents list that would've been their closer, but they HAD to choose a bad one. See, these are some of the moves that made the Royals the second-worst record in the MLB this year.

Royals suck. What kind of idiots pay 55 million to a crappy pitcher like Gil meche?

Dotel isn't that bad, what they did that was dumb is give Gil Meche 55 million dollars.

The guy is barely over .500 for his career with an ERA near 5.00.

Who knows. They have done little so far, and staying pat will result in another disastrous season as patsies of the league.
