Do you derive more satisfaction from the act of giving or in receiving gifts?

I would much rather give than receive...it is just my nature. And to give to those that have nothing makes me happy..in turn, that gives to myself..happiness.

I love to give than receive I have all I need if I want something I can buy it. I think it is important to care about others who don't live as nicely as we do and minister to them and give to them. I give gifts to celebrate Jesus birthday and my gift to him is that I would not complain when I have to minister to people that I have nothing in common with or don't like ministering to.
When I get a gift I am appreciative I give hugs I make a nice fuss and say oh how wonderful, beautiful etc et and I write each person a thank you note who took the time and love to buy a gift for me.
For myself and my husband the best Gift we have is God and each other to enjoy all year round and that Jesus granted us the power to overcome our adversities.

I love to give. Receiving is nice but I get the real joy out of being able to give.

Honestly to give. I like watching people open the gifts I give them.

Giving! Probably only came to me in the last few years though. The joy of watching others is by far the best.

I would say giving because I like to see people when they open my gift.

It's much more fun to give. The feeling you get inside when you give something to somebody you don't even know is wonderful.

Right now, I am excited to see my husband and family open their gifts! I am not nearly as excited about opening my own gifts.
